I show these cause I run past them looking for period hats! Knives and bayonet.......not all p.c. Axes..again....not all p.c. with leather!

Thanks Stuart! Though the majority wouldn't pass inspection at a juried event, you pick up stuff that you find handy when in actual use. The "spike" axe is the slickest tool I have ever had for cutting through a sternum or pelvic bone. The knife made from a file, I traded a hand mixer for back in '77! The bayonet fits on my Caywood officer's fusil. The "long hunter's" knife was made by Karl Fisher who also made the Pipe axe (handle looks curved but isn't.........just the way the photo came out) ? The top knife was a gift from another knife maker............it's the knife when I need to field dress something........even when I am "period hunting".....keeping it out of sight..............of myself.since I always hunt alone! I have an old Buffalo forge I hope to get set up someday to try my hand at making my own!
