Yes, I agree. It was a great place to check in and have a chat with like minded folks. Chuck did a really nice job herding the cats. Man I miss that guy.
Anyway, how is everyone. Still shooting? Hunting? Are you getting out on the ground? Might be tough this winter, but how about the last couple of years? I've been pretty lucky with some of my gear accumulations. I was able to buy a used (hardly) Early English Henry Trade Rifle, 54 Cal, built by Larry Walker. He's currently building me a Scroll Guard Henry rifle in 58 Cal.
Let's see, since I was last here, my AMM Party , The Barren River Party, hosted 2 Western Territorials. I finally retired so I was able to make the AMM Nationals in WY this last summer (2022).
As I sit here it is blowing a blizzard. So far this winter we have gotten about 23 feet of snow, and supposed to get another 20' in the next 10 days. Really looking forward to Spring time!
So, I hope you are well, I have had a few nice conversation with a few of the old timers on here.

I'm here! I agree, Chuck put alot into this message board and I think we should honor him by keeping it going.
I've rearranged my gear from a couple bags and added a large haversack. I guess more of a knapsack, but with a single strap. I have a couple hides for a pair of leggings that I'll start on soon. I had Scott Sibley make me another powder horn which I'll continue to scratch on some designs.
I've got the board bookmarked now though. It's been refreshing to see old posts and get away from FB for awhile.

Wow, Duane, I haven't checked in here for awhile and when I do, there you are. I hope you are well. Yep, there is still a lot of knowledge to be gleaned from this site. Nothings really changed much on my end. I haven't been out much, dealing with old guy health stuff. But, I'm taking care of it and hope to spend more time out and about this next year. Currently spending what energy I do have getting ready for winter.
