Leif, Instead of a food processor, make a stone-headed hammer from a river cobble (peck a groove and bind to a wood handle with rawhide, see below for one I made) and pound the dried meat (using a stump/piece of wood as an anvil) until it can be shredded (similar to sinew for bows). Then mix with tallow and form. I suspect the texture will be more pleasant. Albert
