Thanks Duane. I enjoyed every bit of it; the building, the shooting and the videoing too. I also put up the whole video on YouTube as well. Max

Hey Ridgrunr, the parts kit came from TOTW. No inletting done except barrel channel and ramrod hole drilled. As for the video on the blog, not sure why it's not working for you but you can see the complete video on YouTube at Turkey Creek 1823. Glad you liked thhe rifle. It without be on our table at the Tulsa gun show next weekend. Also, should be a new post on the blog in the next day or two and a new video on YouTube n ext week some time.

Very nice! My youngest son owns a .54 cal. Leman in percussion. I noticed on your blog that you're in NW Oklahoma. There's a few guys out around Lawton who I met on here and now have connected on Facebook. I live in Seminole County. Pare-

Pare, tell your boy he's got a really nice gun there! Yes I've heard there's a bunch of guys down by Lawton and I think they have shoots pretty regularly but I've never tried to go because it's a pretty good drive from up here. I did make it down there in December with my buddy that drew an elk tag for Wichita Mountains NWR. I wrote about the hunt on my blog if you want to check it out. Are you in AMM by any chance?

Thank you and I'll tell him. Ken Stanley from Idaho made that for him last year. I read your blog a week or so ago. Very good! No, I'm not AMM, but Ian White, Dakota Cornwell, Andrew McCaslin and Hunter Offield are. They belong to Beaver Creek there in Elgin or Fletcher and have monthly shoots.

Turkey Creek 1823 - saw you Lehman Trade Rifle ("first shots") on YouTube yesterday...was looking for info on Lehman Trade Rifles when I cam across your video. Looks like you did a very nice job on the rifle, and looked like it performed well for you. Do you know of a Left-Hand kit version of the Lehman Full Stock (Flintlock) rifle available from anyone here in the US? Thanks, Clay
