Hey mountaineers, just wanted to let y'all know that I've started a new blog.  It will be devoted to shooting and hunting with traditional muzzleloaders as well as western fur trade history and such. You can check it out at www.turkeycreek1823.blogspot.com.
And yes, the year 1823 in the name was purposely chosen as it was such an eventful,  important and pivotal year in the western fur trade.

It's good to see we've got a growing number of folks who are putting what do up on the web for others to understand and "join us on the trail." Looking forward to reading everyone's blogs. I'll do my best to try to update mine again soon.
