I've got a wooden canteen that leaks. I've soaked it and that doesn't help. I'm sure it could use a new lining of wax inside but not sure what to use and how to go about it. Any advice would be great.

Hey! Two options that I'm aware of that could work. #1, and possibly the best, is to use brewers pitch. #2 would be to use beeswax. Townsend has a video on their YouTube channel that shows a way to line it with brewers pitch. Beeswax could be applied in a similar way. Hope that helps.

Thanks. I need to do that because there is a chunk of pitch or wax loose in there and I'm sure it needs to be replaced. I did put water in it and after a few days it swelled up tight and has stopped leaking.
