Bit of clarification please. What do you mean "like this one"? How is it like that one? How old is it? etc Any specifics would be helpful.

the horn is original and has the dates 1790 and 1825 on it,it was owned by the late Chuck Burrows,I am not trying to be evasive in any way. I simply want to know how much it would be worth.Duane

I didn't realize you meant that exact horn. Sorry. I recognized it as being one of Chuck's because of the bag. Always loved that bag. I am afraid that I can't give an estimated value. Not my area of expertise. I was just happy that somebody was posting. Around here, the sentimental value may outweigh the monetary value. Chuck Burrows left big moccasin tracks. Badger

Sorry boys, I haven't had much time to get on here lately. Duane, I'm not in any way an expert but my compadre and I watch these things on the auction sites. A decent scrimshawed horn in good shape with no documentation usually will go for $175-$200 and on up from there with the sky being the limit depending on the individual horn and what auction it is at. That's sure a nice looking one you have there. Hope you can get it and hope this info helped you out in a small way. Keep yer nose in the wind and yer eyes on the skyline. Max
