I'm still here fellers. Check the board just about every day and post when I have something. I'm sure hoping them boys'll all come back and ain't gone under. I ain't giving up. I've been awful busy. I still have 3 deer hides in the freezer from last year waiting to be brain tanned and here it is deer season again in a couple of weeks. Got the parts for a flint fullstock Leman sitting on the work bench waiting to be built. Hopefully over the winter. Retiring at the end of January so I can have the time for all the important things like these. I'll be 62 1/2. Pouches and gun covers to make, guns to build, powder horns and measures, etc, etc; just no time to get to them. I'll post as I get stuff done.

I'm here as well. Hopefully, folks are just out doing stuff. Summer's a busy time for most of us, and now, it's harvest time and hunting season. In a month or two, activities should settle down and Ol' Man Winter comes around and it's time to cozy up to the fire, break out the leather and tools are make new gear or repair old gear. As well as spend more time typing on the confuser. That's my story anyway. I'll try to write and share my tales of my failed Aux Ailiment du Paiz. But successful Muzzleloader Mule deer hunt. Meanwhile, keep the faith.
Cheers, Doug T.

Just been keeping to the bush. Thought maybe everybody had gone under and I should keep a lookout... I am glad to see that there are still some fine mountaineers here abouts. I have a great fondness for this site and would hate to see it fall apart.

I check in here once in a while. I joined but never really did an introduction. Sadly, it seems that message boards are becoming a less and less used for of technology. Hopefully things don't completely die off.

I'm still here too. Had foot surgery this week, so no hunting for me this year.
