Well, I finally finished my NWTG. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet due to hunting season and now this danged ice storm. I'll post targets when I get a chance to shoot it.

My Moler smooth rifle is still loaded and standing in the corner following a rather disappointing season, where not so much as a fork horn buck passed in front of me.......and that's after one morning sitting waiting to ambush a huge non-typical buck...... which after two and a half hours sitting I nearly lapsed into Hypothermia. My biggest debate now is....do I pull the ball so there's less cleaning and an unwasted ball to recast or take it outside and take a shot at the gong hanging in a Ponderosa?

LOLOL. Ain't that always our dilemma when the season is over and we haven't filled that last tag. I ended my season this weekend cleaning up limbs on my place from the ice storm a week ago so that storm pretty much wiped out the last TWO weekends of hunting and my .54 is standing in the corner in the same condition as yours, dang it. My philosophy is go out and shoot at the gong and shoot at least 2 more rounds for practice. That way I figure it makes the cleaning worth it.
