There has been some talk on another forum as to the horn spout plug should be tethered to the powder horn or not, also I have read that some attach their powder measure to the horn as well.I would like to know how other manage both the plug and powder measure..Thanks..D

I've always attached my spout plug to the horn and powder measure to my shooting bag. I've seen pictures of several originals that did it that way.
Best wishes, ScottC

I don't have my plug attached to my horn, but I do have the charger attached to it.

My horn is attached to my bag and the charger is attached to the bagstrap on a thong. My bag is a double pouch and the charger gets tucked up between the two pouches to keep from swinging around. Or flipped into the bag. Depends how active I'm at the time. Works well. I do not attach the plug to horn. When I load, I pull the plug with my teeth, easy to replug the horn and you don't have to grope around for the plug and, it pretty much ensures the horn gets replugged. It's worked for me for 35+ years and I've never lost a plug.
