Yes, I do believe Kentucky is were it was from, I bought it from Feddie Harrison, after the muzzelloading gun show in Monroe Washington a few years back. I understand it was his personal gun, . the story was he shot it at friendship. I should say Freddie was selling it for him there. I never meet the man, but he builds heck of a gun. One of the most figured piece of maple end to end I have ever seen. 46 inch oct to round .62 Jack Haug style lock, single set trigger. Puts em right were yer lookin.

Been a rough season of not getting out for me... kids sick, me sick, work and family obligations. Anyway, I went out last night for day two of the muzzleloader season. I was in a hurry as I had little time after work. About 75 yd. behind the house, I jumped an antlerless deer (have a tag for one and it is my choice for meat). I quickly cut across the wind and stalked up a ridge to try and cut it off. I sat down where I figured it would come through and 5 min. later, here it came. Took a quick 40 yd. shot with my NW gun... made meat. Finally got to break in the new NW gun properly! It still has a long ways to catch up on my fusil though.

Good job.......never even took a shot this year, but my landlord has two bulls and a buck in his freezers. Took a photo of these two a couple days ago!....about 200 yds from the house. One of the boys was missing an antler.
