hello to all. i'm looking for a source of a few things and hoped some folks on here might be able to help.
who is recomended for a good period felt hat? i've been on mike agee's list for some time, know he's had some things keeping him from doing it but wondered who else out there is doing good hats? i'm aware of tim bender and was gonna go with him as he says he can have it done in a weeks time, what's the thoughts on his hats?
who's making the white blankets with red stripes like you see in some of miller's work?
who's recomended for iron sirrups and other hardware needed to rig up a saddle? i have four trees (an ashley contract, gourd horn, and two saw bucks) i'm getting ready to rig and lookin around for the best hardware at the best prices.
thanks in advance for any help.

What folks already said, Now Ive not seen one of the new Nortwest traders blankets, Im using Whitney's, and you can see my Tim Bender hat in my profile pic over on FB.
I do know where there is a Whiteny Lachine for sale, buts one with the bicentennial tags, and is worth more as a collectable, and wouldnt be a good one to use....

Good blankets are also handwoven by Rob Stone. I cannot more highly recommend a blanket or weaver!

Blankets have gone sky high. If you're not in too big of a hurry, troll Ebay. Ebay is your friend for finding blankets. Also, You cant go wrong with a Tim Bender. I love my Bender hat. Word of advise though, buy a hat jack too, and keep it in the hat when you store it.
