Got my copy of the MOFT's newest book, the long-awaited volume on textiles and clothing. I have to say, this was worth the wait---what a tremendous resource. It's actually slightly larger than the firearms book, if possible, and has chapters on cloth, blankets, ready made clothing, historic textile terms, etc. Awhile back, I was wondering what "rorum" hats were---they were turning up on trade lists I was going through---well, wonder no more. Turns out they are wool felt hats with a veneer of beaver felt applied to make them look like beaver hats. There's plenty more, I can't recommend this book highly enough. Get a copy!
