This board has been too silent for too long. Did everyone freeze up waiting on spring? In northwest Montana our season starts with the spring shoot put on by Mark Morain of Kootenai River Muzzleloaders on April 5th. This is often a little soggy with the appearance of rain or snow or both. Not many show up but the hardcore. Our rendezvous is next on April 25-28. It is a general valley wide celebration of spring or cabin fever affair that sees on of the best parades in Montana. Our rendezvous is situated north of town and encourages "primitive" camping. We have the standard events of trail walk, pistol and knife and hawk. Attendance has been decreasing over the last several years but we still had 115 registered shooters last year. Our club also gets smaller every year so the lower attendance numbers make it easier on those of us in Tobacco River Muzzleloader doing the work. We enjoy ourselves and have a good time.

I think the blame rests squarely on the shoulders of Jeff Bridges's stunt double, as his "Wanted-Enterprising Young Men" Facebook group is where folks seem to be congregating. Of course its way, way harder to find something you thought you posted in a thread over there since it is not in this format. Luke

There is a facebook group called "Wanted: Enterprising Young Men" that has been the place that folks who fall on the hardcore side of things have been discussing pre 1840 RMFT minutia the last couple months.

I've been a bit busy myself lately with work and a few projects. Just got back from a spring fever camp myself. I hope to post some pictures of my recent capote project as well as a rundown of our recent camp.

Same as Leif, I've had things going on and haven't been too communicative. I'll try to rectify that.

You have to be invited to the Wanted group on Facebook. Its a pretty good place to share information, but like Luke said, its hard to find any posts.
