Got a package in the mail today, the Preceedings of the 2012 Fur Trade symposium held at the Museum of the Mountain Man in Pinedale, Wyoming. The focus of the 2012 symposium was the 200th anniversary of the Astorian expedition, and the majority of the papers that were presented reflect that, although some are of broader scope. Softcover, 8 1/2 x 11, 184 pages of fur trade information, which I recommend to anyone interested in the fur trade. Authors include Jim Hanson, Clay Landry, Mark Kelly, Jim Hardee, and several others. Although not yet listed on the website, copies may be ordered from the MMM:
