I am looking for any information about a Kit Carson courier pouch..
Its a pretty neat piece with a fancy embroidered flap
and body panel...(see link below)

Tim - I'd try checking with the Auction House which was www.auctioninsantafe.com or Manitou Galleries in Santa Fe www.manitougalleries.com/ whose name also appears as part of the auction - this lot of goods also include Caron's hide pants and his last wife's sewing kit along with several other items owned by Carson.
