Very nice rifle-
Been searching all day on the web for images or descriptions of the finish on the 1792/94 contract rifles and even with the pics they are all dark or black and white and I can't figure out if they were browned or left armory bright - some look one way the others look the other way
And would a 42" barrel be better or 36" and I am thinking of 32 to a pound
