Delawares out west.....

Hello,

Can some of you folks possibly offer suggestions on books that would talk about the Delaware who were living out west (Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas) at about the time of the Civil War....Anything that would discuss day to day life, clothing, gear, ornamentation......

Also does anyone here portray a western Native here? (Pawnee, Osage, etc)....Thanks--john

Look up Black Beaver there's good pic of him and the image is from the 1850's - he wears center seam mocs, leggings, and a double caped buckskin hunting shirt. There are a few of these buckskin hunting shirts still extant - most are quite fancy with bead work or silk embroidery - I've got pics of several if you wan them.
