The pinkish shawl I got for my wife Kim. Hand spun, died, knitted wool. The two pottery pieces (mug and bowl) were made by Gordon Lucht, of Jamestown, ND. He also did pottery making demonstrations at the Rendezvous. The scissors, bells, cones and flint I got at random traders that were there. (bells and cones for projects for my daughters and the beefy flint chunks for Kim. She hasn't quite got her coordination down using a fire steel yet, so I pick some up that could stand some abuse before we put her together her own fire kit with some smaller flint.) The pliers were made by the good folks at Kootenai River Traders. I end up using my multi-tool all the time so I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to get myself something more period appropriate. The tin cup I won in the drawing on Saturday night before the evening shindiggeries started. Only got to stay two days, but was a good time for me and the family. Also, I thought Rod did a great job of explaining brain tanning and showing the dry scrape process. Hoping to try it in a couple of weeks on a hide and brain I have in the deep freeze. Attachments:
