One I whipped up for an entry on a forum "KITH"; --Forged on charcoal, all handwork- no electricity used --A little smaller than throwing 'hawks. Head is 5" x 2" with a 16" haft. --Head is from a file, wrapped, welded, filed and of course...rusted.. --Haft is Oak from the charcoal pile, drawknifed, scraped, torched and waxed..no dye --A little of my rawhide and egg-tanned deer hide...dyed with homebrew walnut --A few beads and tacks A neighbor of the Redbud stopped by, one of my lovely brides show winning Sizzle hens... She shares my love for cheese doodles... As always, large thanks to Mr. Chuck Burrows for inspiration and linking me to those great pictures of the past.......Randy
