So, back in January I went to the MOFT website and got myself a membership. So time has passed and I got to thinking the other day that I had yet to receive any Quartlies yet. This afternoon I decided to investigate and discovered that my "order" was still pending. I'm not complaining, I understand that sometimes those crazy things happen out there in Cyberland. In the process of checking thing out I discovered that they've completely redone the website. It looks fantastic. It's very interactive and they've got a number of photos for each of their headings now that you can view as well. Looks very sharp.

I was there with the NAVC last month, and we were told they are still working on the current quarterly.

They area small operation and are not always johnny on the spot with there quarterlies or with communication about them. They also seem to miss sending out expiration notices which can be frustrating. However, it is still worth it and it's a good thing to support them.

This morning I received a nice email from the folks at MOTFT. My order had gone through right before the new website switchover, which is why things were delayed. I just happened to be that lucky guy  I'm really impressed with the way the website looks. Good Stuff |

Got my spring Quarterly today, so they should be coming to a mailbox near you. Sean is right, though, they are published a bit erratically, and I'm never quite sure when the next one's coming out---sometimes they're early, and sometimes not.
Years ago, I was down at the museum, and Marie Hanson mentioned to me the new Quarterly was coming out---she'd just finished stuffing every last one of them into their envelopes, and pasting on the address labels---and was sooo glad that job was over for a few months. I'm betting they still do it that way today.

Got my spring Quarterly today, ... Got one at my house yesterday too! I got a big certification test this afternoon, so I didn't even open it up last night. Tonight it will be fair game.... |
