My name is Randy Church ..Mr. Chuck Burrows sent me this way and I've spent the last two nights reading page after page here.. .AWESOME accumulation of knowledge..I wasn't aware that there was so many other people with the same affliction...The Fur Trade... I build Trade Show Exhibits for a living but my lovely bride allows me to play around in the early 1800's after work. I've got a little forge out in the Redbud trees, I tan hides when I have the time(there are 8 in my freezer now waiting) , enjoy working leather and devouring history....especially craftsmen techniques & materials of the era. Here's some of the stuff I make... Well, you get the idea, I'm a sharp edge nut!! I do tend to bend toward the NDN side, I'm part Apache, part Cherokee, part Euro, part Black...a genuine American.. Thanks Chuck for your inspiration, sharing of knowledge and steering me this way.. .I think I'm going to like it here....Randy
