just the right thing - This pistol (or ball) grip style knife with bone handle (a common Spanish/French style blade and grip also borrowed by the English), handforged by Carlton Matteo of Michigan needed a period style sheath so here it is. Showing how to attach to a belt or sash... if the rawhide cover were to be removed inside is a surprise... I made this sheath to be a "frontier repair" of the original Euro sheath it came with, so I copied the center sheath in the image above of several French originals (thank you Ken Hamilton) and then "repaired" it with rawhide and yes it is "that" knife.........
