After cooling off a little, talking to Mike Nesbitt and such. I ordered a rifle from TVM that will be a reasonable facsimile of a Lancaster Pattern Trade rifle. TVM can thank Mike Nesbitt and John Shorb for this order because they were able to talk me back into it after I talked myself out of it following a less than pleasant conversation with guy at TVM Hopefully, it will be a great rifle for me Specs TVM Late Lancaster 42" Rice radius rifled barrel with aged finish in 54 cal L&R Late English Flintlock Plain Maple stock with reddish brown finish Brass Furniture with Leman/Henry style 3 piece patch box Here's hoping

You do realize that now you're obligated to show us pics when you get it, right? Take it from me, you'll like that Rice barrel--easy cleaning and deadly accurate.

Keith,
It should be a fine and very correct gun that will knock down those elk and mulies in NW NM.
