Well gentlemen, a few days ago I started working on my first pair of mocs. They are the side fold variety. I'm using method suggested from Women Of The Fur Trade. womenofthefurtrade.com/page11.htmlWith what was available to me (and my budget) I'm using veg-tanned deer hide that (is supposed to) appear brain tanned. I should have one of them completed today and will post pics for your viewing scrutiny and suggestions for improvements.

Well...gonna try I figure I'll double up on the socks, grease up the mocs...and...alas, bring my regular work shoes that I wear each day. What kind of footwear will you be sportin' this weekend?

I'll probably have moccs on---I really need to get busy and make a new pair, my old ones have patches on the patches.

Here's one of the completed mocs. The only thing I don't have is the thong to tie it with. Attachments:
