Got an early Christmas present from my parents--they got us hooked up to satellite internet! So, I can finally do stuff like this---it's a pic of winter camp, last January. My hovel away from home. Attachments:

My wife was PO'ed because she wasn't along--instead she was home with the kids. Believe me, with those four little hell raisers, it'll make a camp out in the snowbank look real good at times! Anyway, I'll be posting a few more pics in the future. Rod

Same here, we've just got a skiff of snow, looks like it'll be a brown Christmas. On the other hand, we needed a bit of a break after the last two winters---according to some estimates, a good third or better of the deer around here starved to death last winter, and close to one half of the antelope. Hard to paw through 100+ inches of snow.
I'd like a little more, maybe 6 inches or so, but it isn't breaking my heart not to plow snow this winter....it was all I got done last winter. Plow snow, feed cows, repeat each day.

Yeah... no snow is a lot easier, and the warmer weather uses up less wood to heat ;D
Problem is all the fun I have with snow... and the cold is needed to make some ice for trapping and ice fishing.
