I’m still dealing with some on going health problems that leave me without a lot of energy, but I Finally! got some work done....... Here's an eastern style buffalo horn I recently finished. It has a bit of a double curve (unusual with buffalo but not unknown) and it came out nice and smooth (no "strings") along with some nice color variation to boot.(and yes despite being a bit odd for buffalo, it is definitely buffalo because it came with a bit of the skull and hair still attached)..... The tip was worn down and was thus quite fat so to make it easier to prime with this one I added a mule deer antler tip..........surface finish is filed and scraped only - pine end plug with an iron strap staple. It was inspired by this original eastern horn...
