Here's a couple shooting bags I made; the one on the left is indian influenced, made from brain tan and soaked in walnut to add a little color to it, the beads are old time colors: bodmer blue, cheyenne pink (as close as i could get anyway) white and dark blue. It has my willow beaver bait bottle attached to the side, as well as a coffin shaped turn key/striker. I keep all my smoothbore gear in this bag. The bag on the right is my rifle shot bag; it's made from bark tan leather, that's been dyed and oiled. It has three compartments sewn to the inside that holds my oil bottle, gun work, and cleaning jag. the bag strap has a small buckle on it, so I can adjust it if necessary. I also have a shooting block attached to the bag. This bag pulls double duty as a Fur trade rifle pouch, 1812 era rifle bag, and overland trail period bag Attachments:
