For all the elk hunters

Been reading Osborne Russell again. He mentions a hunter killing a bull elk with seven inches of back fat with a rack with 14 points on one side and 12 on the other.

I could handle shooting one like that. Might even take a photo and post it on this forum.

There are a set of antlers in the Steamboat Springs Museum very similar in size...almost black with age.......at least there was 32 years ago.
