Just found this forum today. Looks like it is off to a good start.
Got out of the hobby years ago to pursue other interests. Have always been a muzzle loader shooter. My intrest in the fur trade and westward expansion is slowly being renewed. I figure by next summer I should have my kit back together.

Howdy Julius and welcome - what part of California are you from? Left there in 1971 and made one visit in 1977.......

Been shooting muzzle loaders since 1962, the same time my interest in the western fur trade was spawned after seeing the Miller sketch of Ole Bull Burrows.
Like many of us here my activity has been up and down over the years due to circumstances, but the interest has always stayed........
