Howdy, boys. I'm Badger. I live up here on the Northern Plains on the Souris River.(North Dakota) I sure am glad to have finally found your camp. I was getting pretty tired of Longhunters and Cowboy shooters! I have been doing the Mtn man thing for 25 years and have proudly been in the AMERICAN MOUNTAIN MEN for almost 5.(Bossloper # 1956) I have been involved with Ft Union NHS for about 14 years as a volunteer interpreter. I am actually more interested in the plainsmen of the '40s and '50s. Anyway, I have known Rod for a long time and he told me about you guys and here I am. Reckon thats it for now. I don't want to wear out my welcome with a loose jawbone!

How do Badger, welcome to the camp. I'm sure you will find it a nice place to visit and hang out. I am also in the mountain man era but not near as long as you. I'm thinking a lot about going to my first AMM camp this fall and see if I can get "fit fer beaver". being 64 now, I'm not too sure if I can keep up  |

Not to worry, Rod. I've seen my share of pitchforks and torches, too. We're sort of like the historical version of the Island of Misfit Toys, here. I suspect Badger will fit right in if he hangs out with you.

Thanks Badger, I think I already have that covered. A good friend that I have made since I've been involved in "these shere doins" is having one on his property this fall and has invited me. Just need to give it and my gear a bit more thought. Right now, I'm thinking It's the direction that I want to go in.

Sounds good, Iche. We need more people who are dedicated to doing things the way they were really done. The AMM has high standards but I am sure that you will do just fine. Anything I can do to help, I will and "Welcome". Badger
