I have only played with the pucker-vamp-centerseam a little. I normally make straight centerseams and big vamp puckertoes (as seen in the image above), but then I am doing Great Lakes stuff predominantly. Here is my fun with the other style (sorta like the Miller images), I chose this type (which creates a bit more point in the toe until you wear them a bit) because it is seen in my area. Isaac, yes, that pair you show under construction is the pattern I like to use. The last pair I just made, shown in the first post, I made a rounded front(toe) pattern. Easy to make. Both of these patterns (pointy) you see used across several tribes. Cree, Chippewa, Iroquois, Ojibwa and Delaware. ummm, some of these worked in the RMFT didn't they. Fun stuff!
